She wanted a restaurant since she was 8 years old, but the universe had other plans for her first. Yet, she wouldn’t have it any other way. While waiting, she jumped at every opportunity to take lessons from amazing culinary schools around the globe, leveraging each new experience and incorporating her own twists in making it her own.
Her food is a reflection of her journey from working in Michelin establishments in Bangkok, her stay in Ubud where she became raw-vegan certified, to exploring the many food markets across Asia, South America, North America, Africa, and Europe; all in hopes of capturing such experiences back home. Mrs. Saldo’s is a story weaved from resilience, hope, and of learning, but at its heart is what matters the most – creating wonderful experiences with people you love.
