Mission Possible in Jesus

Marciano & Vet Taganas-Lim

Ever wonder how couples navigate those tough times? 💍

Our very own Vet Lauzon, now Vet Taganas-Lim, the voice behind Before I Do Bridal Fair Series for many years — an event planner and event host — together with her husband, Marciano, shares their story of how God is leading them through the challenging phase of adjustment in the first 2 years of their marriage.

When they asked God for another chance at love, He granted their heart's desire. However, the ride isn't as smooth as it seems. It's a beautiful reminder that having Jesus in your marriage, just like a three-corded rope, creates a strong bond.

Beyond Weddings by Before I Do

Testimony Guide for
Couples & Wedding Vendors

Thank you for being willing to share your story. Your experience may encourage another couple who is going through a difficult season in their marriage.

Your testimony does not need to be perfect or scripted — just speak honestly from the heart. Here are a few simple prompts that may help you tell your story:

  1. 1 Who are you? Introduce yourselves briefly — your names, how long you've been married, and what you do (especially if you are part of the wedding industry).
  2. 2 What was a difficult season in your marriage? Share a real challenge you faced as a couple — conflict, financial struggles, health concerns, misunderstandings, or moments when your relationship was tested.
  3. 3 Where did you see God at work? During that difficult time, how did the Lord guide, comfort, or correct you? Was there a Bible verse, prayer, conversation, or moment that reminded you of God's presence?
  4. 4 What changed after that experience? How did that season shape your marriage? What did you learn about love, commitment, forgiveness, or faith?
  5. 5 What would you like to say to couples preparing for marriage? Share a short word of encouragement for couples who are about to begin their married life.

Suggested video length: 2–3 minutes. Your story does not have to be dramatic — even small moments of God's faithfulness can encourage others.

Through Beyond Weddings by Before I Do, we hope to remind couples that marriage is not only about the wedding day — it is about a lifelong covenant where God continues to work in our lives.
